What are your reasons to exercise?

We all have our own Reasons to Exercise and at Balls-and-Bands-Workouts you can learn some of the many facets that Exercise has to offer. As well as the many Benefits of Exercise that you can discover along the way.

Firstly, you need to ask yourself these questions.

  • We all have our own Reasons to Exercise and identifying "WHY" will assist you in knowing the correct path to follow and which steps you will need to take to succeed.

I believe that Exercise should be Safe, Enjoyable and Rewarding. When activities challenge you, you will strive to Succeed . You look forward to doing those activities and will set some time aside for them.

So remember to find a Workout Routine that can challenge and inspire you and that you can adjust, to keep it varied and your Enthusiasm will grow.

On some occasions it may feel like there are not enough hours in the day to do all of your responsibilities and still fit in a Workout Routine. But a simple adjustment of your alarm clock, some minutes here and there can add up and you can find the time.

All you need is about 30-40 minutes; 3-4 times a week and that can make all the difference. If you make it a priority, there will always be sufficient time.

Also the idea is not to look beyond your capabilities, the reason here is that you will find the going too hard from the start and I can guarantee that there will be a good chance that you will become disheartened and give up. So your Workout Routines should start gradually.

When you use what you have and start building on your abilities, step by step you will gain momentum and an understanding of the Workout Routines involved. And my hope is that you can gradually embrace a Lifestyle of Health and Fitness, that is sustainable for the rest of your Life and you can reap the benefits of overall Well-being.

The key message here is SUSTAINABLE, if it is not, you will find it difficult to continue with and over time your Enthusiasm will diminish and you will stop. I've seen this time and again, people look at Exercise and Dieting as a "temporary fix all" and once their weight has dropped or their fitness increased, they consider that they've achieved their goal and return to their old habits.

Then their weight returns and their fitness decreases and all the effort they initially put in has gone to waste. When you choose to change your Life, for whatever reason, it has to be because you want it enough to change your Lifestyle for the better and permanently.

And this philosophy is the same for whatever your "Reasons to Exercise" may be.

I have a simple “Three- Link Plan” to achieve and live a Sustainable, Healthy and Fit Lifestyle. The first link is Motivation , the second link is Diet and Nutrition and the third link is Workout Routines . The three of these link together and form a connected chain to Success. If each link is not performed equally, than the chain is weak and will break. If one is missing, the chain will be broken and all of your efforts in the other links would be of no use at all.

For your efforts to be worth while you must commit time to each of these links equally. When you achieve this you will see how the three compliment each other.

The Philosophy here is not based on any sought of "Easy Fix"or promises of "Quick Results", you will not find those here.

It is in the reality of Good Eating Habits combined with Workout Routines and your Determination and Enthusiasm that will make it Sustainable and a Success. Your Life will be orientated towards Good Health and Well-being and you will reap the rewards.
